Ciara was born on this day in 1985. That makes her the ripe young age of 22 - I don't feel old.

Born in Austin, TX the young singer did move around a lot because her Dad was in the army - I suppose this was preparing her for touring. Ciara lived in New York, Germany, California, Arizona, and Nevada - then finally landed in Atlanta, GA when she was a teenager and this is where her music career began.

I love her music and wish that I could shake it like that. I do now how to rock the 1, 2 step though, so there!! Anyways, we hope that Ciara has an awesome birthday and that this next year will be a stepping stone into greater things.
