Dr. Phil came with it and admitted that he didn't handle the whole Britney situation correctly. Yeah, going to the media and sharing your thoughts about Brits mental state after your surprise visit to the Hospital probably wasn't the wisest considering you're a professional psychologist.
"Was it helpful to the situation? Regrettably, no," McGraw, 57, said Thursday during a taping of the Dr. Phil Show, reports USA Today. (The show is slated to air Monday.) "I definitely think if I had it to do over again, I probably wouldn't make any statement at all. Period."
The backlash after the Britney incident has been huge from Dr. Phils' peers. I think not being licensed in California has a lot to do with it!
