The NAACP Image Awards was on last night and The Great Debaters came out on top. NAACP honors 'outstanding achievements and performances by people of color and groups who work to promote justice.' The Great Debators walked away with these awards - Best Motion Picture, Best Actor for Denzel Washington, and Best Actress for Jurnee Smollett.
I haven't seen this movie yet but have heard that its awesome. Well, come on - Denzel (Yummy) Washington is in it - he does no wrong in my book. If you saw it, tell me what you think.
