Jacko's New Image - First Look

Michael Jackson is wanting to project a new image and he's enlisted Andre Van Pier to help him do that. It's only fitting seeing that he is the man who did the same for Jacko during the 80's and 90's.

“This is the style Michael is leaning toward when he gets back on stage,” Van Pier tells PageSix.com.

Van Pier (whose other superstar musical clients have included Mick Jagger, David Bowie and Beyoncé) says he created the new look for Michael last year, when the singer was hoping to mount a long-term, Celine Dion-like spectacle in Las Vegas.

Since that strategy seems to have fallen through, Michael is reportedly planning a Thriller 25 TV special, as well as an original comeback album.

Van Pier’s solar-powered costumes, which run more than $10,000 a pop, are made from a space-age fabric called prostein protein that changes color in reaction to stage lights.

I like the second picture the best. It seems more current and I can't see Jacko's nose as much - or the lack thereof. Maybe during the performances he could just stand there with his head down just like that. Nice! Do you guys like the new look(s)?
