Amanda Overmeyer was sent packing last night on American Idol and we can't help but think it had something to do with her last statement to the judges on the previous night. It happened when Paula suggested she sing a slower song next time and Amanda wasn't all too thrilled about it.
Amanda's comment back to the judges went something like, "I think ballads are boring!" I thought it was kinda cool of her to be so bold and honest. Nothing cookie cutter about this chick and obviously America wasn't diggin' that about her. Yeah, maybe Amanda did let the skunk 'do' get out of control a couple times but hey, at least she kept the show interesting. Do you think she deserved to go home last night?

She did not deserve to go home this past week. White trash country girl Kristy should have gone home for the 3rd week in a row yet these idiots cocntinue to vote her thrug because of her looks. Granted Amanda would not have one the show, as it will most likely come down to David A., Brook and David C.
