John Stewart writer of the song 'Daydream Believer' for the Monkees and member of The Kingston Trio has died. According to aolmusic.com, he passed away from a massive stroke and a brain aneuryism - he was 68 years old.
The band announced his death on their official website and stated that he had passed away Saturday at a San Diego hospital.
"The world has lost one of its best men, but a man who lived well and made many people happy with his love, his wit and his music," the announcement said.
