Britney Spears is reportedly on a 72-hour mental lockdown after refusing to hand over the kids to Kfed. We're being told that she had locked herself in a room with one of her boys.
A source tells PEOPLE it was the pop star's court-appointed child monitor who called police. "She had already put Preston in the car when Britney locked herself in a room with Jayden," says the source. "The cops came and got through the door and tied her down to a gurney."
Kfed has taken both of the boys home with him and now his lawyer Kaplan has called an emergency meeting with the Commish in his chambers to plead for full custody of the boys for Kevin. Kfed and Brit's lawyers will be fighting it out later this afternoon and we will update then - so stay tuned.

*What went on once Britney was inside the hospital;
“She was immediately stripped by security of her clothing, to prevent her from potentially harming herself,” an insider tells PageSix.com. “She had her personal items taken away as well, and all the items were put in a bag and a safe by security.”
Britney was then examined by a psychiatrist who asked the singer countless questions, including whether she wanted to harm herself or others. A doctor also questioned Kevin Federline about his ex-wife’s mental state.
Meanwhile, a hospital insider tells Usmagazine.com that nobody wanted to be Britney Spears’ monitor last night after she was admitted as a “special needs” patient, meaning that they have either overdosed or tried to commit suicide.
With “special needs" patients, the source said, “we watch them so they don't hurt themselves and watch the people who come visit them to make sure they don't pass anything to them.”
The insider added: “So we got a call to go have someone sit with her. None of us wanted to go sit with her."

Such cruelty. I feel so sorry for her. K-fed is just an evil man. He will not be content in his attacks until she is dead.
I think it is shameful that no one wanted to sit with her, and that they would gloat about this to others.
Britney Spears has become some kind of symbol of a social scapegoat and it's just wrong. Killing her, by driving her to suicide is not going to solve anythiing and K-Fed has already destroyed or taken too much. He is the worst thing to ever have happened to her.
I can't belived that k-fed would do this to the mother of his children. where is his sympathy she is doing what any mother is doing. I belived that she is strong and that she will come out of this very soon. She is in my prayers. I am deeply touch by what as happened to her. Only god can save you now.
