Amanda Overmeyer on AI - What The Hell Happened?
I watched American Idol ladies last night and once again it sucked thanks to Amanda Overmeyer. What was she thinking with the skunked out hair and the so-called dance moves or spasms she displayed last night? I didn't get it at all and she was one of the more genuine artists - so I thought, in the beginning.
Brook White (she's got some big chicklets) sang Carly Simon's song, "You're So Lame" I mean "Vain" while strumming her git-tar! The judges loved it, even Simon but honestly, I used make fun of that song in the 70's so she would have had to pull a magic trick or something to get me interested in her performance. I thought it was weak. Where are the "Jennifer Hudson's" in the ladies competition?

Prince Harry's In Afghanistan Fighting
OK so, Prince Harry has been in Afghanistan fighting since mid-December on a secret tour. WOW - he's been on the front lines as a second lieutenant battling it out with his unit, the Household Cavalry's Blues and Royals. I'm impressed honestly, that's risky.
"His conduct on operations in Afghanistan has been exemplary," said the head of the army, General Sir Richard Dannatt. "He has been fully involved in operations and has run the same risks as everyone else in his battle group."

Justin Timberlake will have the high honor of inducting thee one and only Madonna into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame March 10th at the Manhattan's Waldorf-Astoria Hotel. Whoa - that's huge!!! He certainly has come a long way from the boy band to now honoring one of the worlds biggest icons!!!
Besides Timberlake and Madonna, pairings of presenters and honorees (who were originally announced Dec. 13), include presenter Lou Reed and honoree Leonard Cohen; Tom Hanks and the Dave Clark Five (Dave Clark, Lenny Davidson, Rick Huxley, Denis Payton and Mike Smith); Billy Joel and John Mellencamp; and John Fogerty and the Ventures (Bob Bogle, Nokie Edwards, Gerry McGee, Mel Taylor and Don Wilson).

Oscars Say 'Sorry' To Whoopi Goldberg
Whoopi Goldberg was visibly upset on 'The View' yesterday after being left out by the Oscars during their montage to all of the celebrities who had hosted the event. The producers are saying that it was "an absolute oversight." Mmmm Hmmm.
"No harm was intended, and I feel very, very badly that she was left out," Gil Cates said Tuesday. "I'm going to call her and tell her that."
I can understand if Whoopi had only hosted once, and if she wasn't the first black woman to ever host, and if she wasn't the only Oscar winner also to host. That I could understand if it was just an "oversight". But that is not the case here. Whoopi made history by hosting and it just seems like they would have gone the extra mile to make sure she was honored properly.

Ladies In Red At the Oscars
The color red (my personal fav) seems to be the theme for a lot of the female celebrities at the Oscars this evening. Heidi Klum, Anne Hathaway and Miley Cyrus made that known on the red carpet.
Which dress do you like the best? I have to go with Heidi's - I mean, she's working that thing out!!!
