Did We Really Need Christina To Confirm Pregnancy?

We have been watching Christina Aguilera's belly get bigger and bigger but no word of confirmation until now. If she wasn't pregnant than what else could it be making her stomach swell - cheese or retained water from too much salt?

I think we figured this all out on our own but we do appreciate Christina making the announcement...even if it was a little too late - remember Paris Hilton did it for her in Las Vegas? I'm just wondering if Jennifer Lopez will now break her silence because we've all had it!!!
