Akon has had some problems with how he's handled his fans that faithfully show up at his concerts. I want to call it a "love-hate" relationship the singer has with his followers, but throwing fans around at his concerts doesn't sound much like love to me.
Audience members said that a spectator lobbed something at Akon and that the singer asked the crowd to point out the culprit. A security guard picked out a 15-year-old and sent him up to the stage, where Akon hoisted him onto his shoulders and flung him into the crowd.
The boy landed on Abby Rosa, who told the Poughkeepsie Journal she was later found to have a concussion. She said she has hired a lawyer and spoken to Fishkill police.
Prior to this incident Akon also has danced inappropriately with an under aged female which was obviously so controversial. Akon tried to do damage control by releasing a song apologizing for his behavior called, "Sorry, Blame It On Me". Hmmmm, there's got to be a better way to appreciate his fans and let's hope Akon has the chance to find out what that thing is before it's over for him.
