Britney Spears: Custody Standoff Now Hospitalized For Evaluation

Britney Spears refused to handover her kids to Kfed's bodyguards when they showed up at her house. Police were called around 8:00 pm to find that Britney was under the influence of an unknown substance. She finally let the kids go at 10:50pm about the same time an ambulance arrived on the scene to take Britney to the hospital for "mental" evaluation.

Britney was seen being taken out of her house on a gurney where they took her to Cedars Sinai Medical Center. Jayden was also taken to the hospital and Sean was seen in a black VW going hopefully somewhere safe.

KFed showed up at the at Cedars as did Britney's father.

I'm sad that the kids had to experience such a drama packed night but am somewhat thrilled that Britney's getting mental attention. That's something that probably should have taken place a long time ago.

Britney Spears 'Drive Thru' Deposition...Kinda

Britney Spears finally showed up to her deposition and gave it about 15 minutes of her precious time. That's almost the same amount of time she spends at the Taco Bell drive thru. I love it that she has her priorities straight.

Britney was an hour and a half late but did make her presence known at Mark Vincent Kaplan's (Kfed's lawyer) office.

One paparazzo asked Kaplan if he got all the information he was looking for. He glibly replied, “In 14 minutes? I would’ve preferred it had gone on longer.”

And apparently the troubled singer wasn’t too thrilled with how she was treated. When asked if Kaplan was nice to her, she shouted, “NO!”

Is it just me or is Britney getting thinner? Yeah, she does look a tad smaller but I do see a little bit of a mustache on her upper lip. She might want to get that thing taken care of. I'm just sayin'.

Mischa Barton - Another (Acting) JoB Well Done!!!

Mischa Barton has been working the media since her DUI incident. First, she used her cute dogs at the park looking gloom trying to gain sympathy just days after her arrest and now she's seen here leaving the Good Shepherd Catholic Church playing the role of "serene church lady". Angel - she is not, but we have to give her some points for the effort.

Check the expression on Bartons face mixed with the "Polly Purebread" dress. Nice Touch!!!

Celebrity Apprentice - Will You Be Watching?

'Celebrity Apprentice' is on NBC tonight at 9pm ET and Donald Trump has collected some stars to experience being fired by him. I'm pretty sure he was trying to get Paris, Lindsay and Britney to join the cast and man do we wish he had landed that 'cuz I would certainly be more inclined to watch.

Out of all the so-called celebrities to win - my pick this season has to be rocker Gene Simmons. He's gonna take the title for sure. I love that guy!!! I think the only real excitement we'll see on the show will be Omarosa's diva-licious ways. Won't it be sweet if she gets into it with gymnast and Olympic gold medalist Nadia Comeneci?! Oh yes people - she's on the show as well. Obviously Donald was desperate!!!

I'm gonna watch tonight just because I'm hoping to be pleasantly surprised if it ends up not sucking!!! What about you - will you tune in?

Scott Baio - Dude Looks Like A (Preggers) Lady!!!

Scott Baio is no longer '45 and single' - he's 46 married and expecting!!! I'm not sure if you caught the sketchy "reality" show the first time around but it's (unfortunately) coming back for a second season.

Scott was struggling with making a commitment to longtime girlfriend Renee he received professional help on the show and finally at the end (I called it by the way) he surrended to his love, asked her to marry him and then found out that she was carrying their baby. However, in this pic he looks as if he's 5 months along. Scott's giving Halle Berry a run for hottest pregnant celebrity!!!

Anywho - look for Scott Baio 46...and Pregnant on VH1 January 13th at 10pm.

Talk Show Hosts Beards - Who Wore It Better?

David Letterman and Conan O'Brien took to the airwaves after 8 long weeks, both sporting full faced beards. If you like more of the natural bomber look then Dave is your man. If it's Irish Leprechaun chic that turns you out then you're gonna want to vote for Mr. Conan.

My pick has to go to Conan just because it's well trimmed and he doesn't look like he'd blow me up. Dave on the other hand makes me want to cook him a warm meal and give him extra blankets for the road but keep my eyes on him just in case he goes psycho. I say that with love - really!!!

Britney Spears Lawyers Dump Her!!!

Britney Spears lawyers have had it and finally kicked her cellulite butt to the curb! They've been trying to get Brit to listen to them but her bipolar ways have prevented that.

"In the legal papers, attorney Tara Scott from Trope and Trope wrote, "There has been a breakdown in communications between [Britney] and Trope and Trope making further representation of her interests impossible."

Sources tell TMZ the reason Trope and Trope withdrew is because Britney just didn't listen to her lawyers' advice, and her behavior was generally sinking her case."

Britney decided that her kids weren't important enough for her to show up for the deposition today and so we wait for the crap to hit the fan as a result.

"As one connected source put it, "Her whole life has become insane and it's impossible for anyone to get through to her."

Brad Pitt Is The Yummiest Dad!!!

Brad Pitt has to be bar none the hottest Dad in the free world!!! I'm serious about this because just look at him with Pax - so attentive and caring. So HoT!!!

'Yummalish' took his son for a ride on a 4x4 touring the grounds of a construction site in New Orleans Lower Ninth Ward and it looked like a fun ride for the 4 year old. Then they stopped at a convenience store for some coffee and treats - we LoVe that!!!

Could we adore this man anymore than we already do? And just check out what he's wearing - very ZeXy!!!

Lindsay Lohan's New Year - Steamy!!!

Lindsay Lohan obviously had a hot New Year's Eve and she didn't care who was there to witness it all go down!!! She was seen with actor, Dario Faiella in Italy and by the looks of it they had a great time together - enough to keep the party going into the next day.

Ummm, I'm not sure if she was aware of all the paparazzi surrounding her let alone the clubbers observing their PDA. If she was aware, it apparently didn't phase Lilo one bit. How wasted does an ex-rehaber have to be in order to climb on their man and make out for all to enjoy? Just curious.

Tracey Edmonds and Eddie Murphy Marry On New Years Day

Tracey Edmonds says "I do" to Eddie Murphy on New Years Day. All I want to know is if Charlie (Eddie's brother) was there - he's HiLaRiOuS!!!

The wedding took place on a private island off of Bora Bora in French Polynesia. They spoke their vows in a gazebo which was made of 6000 shells. Beautious!!!

Major congrats go out to the happy newly married couple!!!

Zac and Vanessa's Low Key New Years

Zac and Vanessa decided to stay away from all the hot spots for New Years and opted for a more chilled out evening to celebrate. The diner in Toluca Lake ended up being their choice for partying it up like the crazy kids that they are - Woo Hoo!!!

What's on Vanessa's head right now? No really what is that? Is it a throwback to the '20's - I'm not sure what's going on there but she's still gorgeous!!! And Zac is looking makeup-free here and do I see a little scruff on his face?!! He's got man hair growing into the shape of a beard!!! With or without makeup he's still yummy!!!

Happy 2008 Ya'll - We're Looking Back!!!

This being 2008 now, it's just right that we look back on some of my favorite moments here on LayDdee's Eyes On Entertainment. Let's get started shall we?!

"Paula Abdul Needs Help" was the very first post I did back in July and I only started to write just as an outlet for me. I had no idea that it was blow up into a celebrity entertainment blog where I have AwEsOmE faithful readers!!!

"Britney...NEEDS this!" was probably the post that SuCkEd me right into the whole celeb gossip world. This post was about the rumor of Britney performing on the VMA's. Of course we all remember how that ended up and wish Britney would've just stayed home and took care of her boys. OK well, she should have just stayed home. But really we can't look back without mentioning Ms. Hot Mess since she gave us so much material this past year.

"Brad Pitt, Angelina and Maddox In New Orleans" - If you are one of my faithful readers then you understand how much I adore Brad Pitt and think he's amazing. My favorite subject to write about other than his hotness, has to do with celebrities giving back. And noone did it greater than Mr. Pitt himself in 2007.

"Zac and Vanessa Outlast Rumors" - Vanessa Hudgens naked photo scandal was one of the juiciest subjects played out in 2007. Would Zac and Vanessa make it through the media scrutiny? Would HSM fire Vanessa? Would this be the end of her career? All in all I think this was the best thing that ever happened to the starlet. How twisted are we that in order to become an A-lister you have to go naked?! Anyways I love Zac and Vanessa - I even enjoy High School Musical. These two have come out on top amidst all the turmoil and I believe this year is going to be a great year for both of them.

So much more I could have covered especially with all the DUI's and rehab. 2007 was the year to do both and the celebrities really outdid themselves. Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears all paved the way and it was maticulously covered throughout the year. Now if we can only get Amy Winehouse in "Rehab" - I'm scared for that girl!

What will 2008 bring for LayDdee's Eyes On Entertainment? I think it's going to be an awesome year for us here and we all know that really it's up to the celebrities and what kind of juice they bring our way. It also depends upon you - whom we love for making 2007 so much fun to bring the dish your way!!!
