The movie Juno is a comedy tackling serious issues such as teenage pregnancy and adoption. Jennifer Garner (Vanessa) is in the movie but not the main character and (Mark) Jason Bateman plays her husband (whom I find hilarious) who are the adoptive parents to be, of Juno's baby played by Ellen Page - who's relatively new yet looks so familiar. I know that was a run-on sentence - sorry.lol
I love that this topic is shown in a light way, yet from what I've seen there is the element of realness in how difficult this whole situation can be. It may be important to drag your teenagers to see this for a few laugh and lessons as well. Have some great dialogue as a family after - how 'bout that?!

OMG - Lindsay Lohan Looks Lovely!!!
Lindsay Lohan looks great and it's probably because she's not wearing leggings with an oversized shirt in this picture. Lindsay's gown and hair are breathtaking for her appearance in a commercial.
Is it just me or do I see a hint of red in her hair right now? I know we've said it before and we will continue speaking out about the importance of Lindsay returning to the red hair. But, I do think I see a little bit of it - maybe it's just wishful thinking that's messing up my eyesight.

Dolce & Gabanna Fragrance Party
Dolce & Gabanna's Fragrance Launch Party brought out all the stars last night in New York City at the Grammercy Park Hotel. Sparkling dresses and handsome faces were in attendance and we've got some pictures to show them off.
From Matthew McConnaughey and his model girlfriend Camilla Alves to Kate Hudson sporting a grey satin dress with boots? Not digging the footwear with the mini-dress. Depp Looked Dapper Til I Noticed This...
Johnny Depp looked so well put together and "dapper" like I had said yesterday but then I saw this thanks to Page Six. I can't believe he would show up at a premiere like this, but then again that's the off-beat type of thing that makes Depp so intriguing.
They say that shoes makes the man and you can tell a lot about a person by their shoes. Hmmmm, I wonder what this says about our cutie, Johnny Depp.

Quaid Twins Fully Recovered
Dennis and Kimberly Quaid have fully recovered and have been discharged from the hospital. Looks like all the happy thoughts and prayers sent their way really worked.
Susan E. Loggans (Quaid's lawyer) told People "Their condition is fantastic, they're smiling. Zoe looks like her mom, and Boone looks like his dad. They've fully recovered from the accident and it's doubtful they'll suffer long-term effects from the overdose."

Eat Pray Love by Elizabeth Gilbert
Eat Pray Love: One Woman's Search For Everything Across Italy, India and Indonesia is a book written by Elizabeth Gilbert. She takes us on a journey from an unfulfilled marriage to finding spirituality and contentment.
I saw Elizabeth on 'Oprah' today and from what they covered on the show, this book is inspiring and encouraging to all women who find themselves in a rut. One of the things that Elizabeth did speak on is meditation and how that really helped her to listen to God. I thought it was so interesting when Oprah asked if she does it everyday and her answer (and I'm paraphrasing) was no. Elizabeth encourages everyone to meditate but not so it's a ritual - adding that we as women don't need one more thing to add to our list to feel guilty about if we are unable to do it everyday. Don't you just love that? I definitely want to check this book out after seeing the show and hearing how she was able to turn her life around.

Ashlee Simpson's Outta My Head
Ashlee Simpson's new song, "Outta My Head Ay Ya Ya" has been out all over the internet and I just took a listen to it thanks to my son. It definitely has that "Go - Go's" 80's feel to it which is surprising since Timbaland produced it.
Yeah, that's right - Timbaland actually had something to do with this and it didn't involve Justin Timberlake at all. Least, we don't think so. By the middle of the song I found myself humming to it so it definitely has a hook to it. I want to hear your thoughts on this.
Rapper Pimp C Was Found Dead In Hotel Room
Rapper Pimp C was found dead in his hotel room this morning at the age of 33. He was a part of the rap duo UGK.
It was the LA County Fire responding to a 911 call coming from the Mondrian Hotel on Sunset Strip in Hollywood. When they arrived at the hotel, he was already dead in his bed.
Unfortunately, it seems that we've been saying this a lot lately but it is sincere; our hearts and prayers go out to Pimp C's (Chad Butler) family and close friends in this sad time.

UPDATE: TMZ is saying he may have died of natural causes because there were no drugs found in his room. Chad didn't fall or hit his head and they report noone else was in the room with him.

Drew Barrymore looks absolutely dreamy in this retro look on the set of Grey Gardens and I think from her statement she has a little secret as to how she's able to pull this look off. Drew Barrymore says,
“I never act my characters — I am them.”That's why we love her so much.
It's easy to tell someone who is acting their part rather than giving us raw emotion - and the 32 year old actress is able to give us all of that. Drew is an icon in the acting field and I've adored her since she was in the classic 80's movie, E.T. I cannot wait to see her in 'Grey Gardens' - most curious about all of her outfit changes in the movie.

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are showin' some luv by throwing 100 expectant mothers a baby shower at the Los Angeles Free Clinic yesterday. How cool and classy of the couple, who had a lavish baby shower of their own not too long ago.
Nicole continues to surprise me with the way she's reaching out to people in need. A year or so ago this wouldn't have been the case for the socialite but, miracles still do happen. With the official launching of the Richie Madden Children's Foundation the caring couple gave over 200,000 dollars in gifts to these prego moms. We love it!!!

Johnny Depp - Dapper At Sweeney Todd Premiere
Johnny Depp is arguably one of the hottest men in Hollywood and he proved it at the Sweeney Todd premiere in this perfectly fit suit. Talk about yummy - he looks so dee-lish in this outfit and the glasses just give it that added touch.
Did you know he actually sings in this movie? Yeah, Johnny sings and director Tim Burton told the press,
"It was better than I thought so that is always an exciting surprise." Concerning Johnny's role in Sweeney Todd he told the press, "With every character you play there is some opportunity for therapy in a sense. There is exploration to some degree, exorcism in a way."

Brad Pitt's "Make It Right" Campaign
Brad Pitt's "Make It Right" campaign is quite a huge project in that he's taking steps to build homes for the families affected by Hurricane Katrina. His goal is to have all of it completed by next summer.
Just when I didn't think I could possibly love and respect Brad more he goes and does something like donate 5 million dollars from his own pocket to this incredible goal and encourages
"foundations, individuals of means, church groups" – to donate and "help the families of New Orleans get back into their homes."Each home will cost 150,ooo dollars and Brad says,
"We can do it, it's ready to go."If that is too much money to donate there is what's called Christmas Adoption where people can donate things such as bathroom fixtures or a solar panel. I love it and my heart is bursting - just happy that someone of his stature is getting involved.
